Wolves winger Pedro Neto says he will be unavailable ‘for a couple of weeks’ due to a hamstring injury.
The 23-year-old was forced off on a stretcher in the second half of Wolves’ 2-2 draw with Newcastle United on Saturday evening.
Neto has been in sublime form for Wolves this season with one goal and seven assists in 10 Premier League appearances so far.
However, the Portugal international has informed Wolves fans that he is set to miss Wolves’ Premier League games against Sheffield United and Tottenham next month.
Neto posted on Instagram on Sunday: ‘Apart from all the noise I am here to say that I will be out for a couple of weeks, but very soon I will be out there stronger then before.
‘Already focused on my recovery. See you soon.’

Meanwhile, Wolves manager Gary O’Neil is hopeful that Neto will return before the start of Wolves’ busy festive period.
‘He’s moving around,’ O’Neil said after the game.
‘Obviously hamstring injuries have very different levels of severity, so we’re hoping it’s on the smaller side.

‘Hodgey [Joe Hodge] had a similar one in the cup game and wasn’t out too long, so we’re hopeful that Pedro won’t be missing for long.
‘He’s been a big part of what we’ve managed to do so far, but for however long he’s out for, the group is ready to make sure we keep producing performances and we keep picking up points.’
