    • Patricia Crowley, a Golden Globe-winning actress, passed away at the age of 91 due to natural causes, as confirmed by her son, Jon Hookstratten.
    • Best known for her role as Joan Nash in the 1960s sitcom Please Don’t Eat the Daisies, Crowley had a prolific career spanning over six decades in film and television.
    • She is survived by her husband, Andy Friendly, and two children, Jon and Ann Hookstratten Osher, leaving behind a legacy of memorable performances in shows like Dynasty and Port Charles.

    Patricia Crowley, star of Port Charles and Dynasty, has died aged 91

    Patricia Crowley has died at the age of 91.

    Patricia ‘Pat’ Crowley, a renowned Golden Globe winner with a 60-year-long career in film and TV, has died at 91.

    Crowley’s death was announced by her son Jon Hookstratten, who is Executive Vice President of Administration & Operations for Sony Pictures Entertainment, and revealed that she died of natural causes.

    The star died on Sunday in Los Angeles, two days before what would have been her 92nd birthday.

    Crowley was best known for playing Joan Nash in the 1960s sitcom Please Don’t Eat the Daisies, from 1965 to 1967.

    Her character was married to Jim Nash, played by Mark Miller, with whom she had four rowdy boys and worked as a newspaper writer.

    She also appeared in various TV shows and films around the 1960s and 70s, including Hawaii 5-0 and Columbo, before becoming a series regular on some beloved shows in the 80s and 90s.

    The star appeared in 65 episodes of Generations as Rebecca Whitmore from 1989 until 1990 and played Mary Scanlon in 251 episodes of Port Charles from 1997 to 2003.

    In 2005, she appeared in The Bold and the Beautiful as Natalie DeWitt. And appeared as Emily Fallmont in 10 episodes of the nighttime soap opera Dynasty in 1986.

    In Dynasty, she played the wife of Senator Buck Fallmont and the mother of Clay and Bart. Her main storyline in the show focused on trying to maintain the lid of a former affair that called into question the legitimacy of her son.

    In the 70s, she was awarded the Golden Globe for New Star of the Year for her performances in Forever Female and Money From Home.

    The star had a hugely successful career

    Crowley appeared on The Dean Martin Show. She is survived by her husband, Andy Friendly, whom she married in 1986.

    Before her marriage to Friendly, she was married to Ed Hookstratten, a former sports and entertainment attorney who represented Elvis Presley, Johnny Carson and Vin Scully.

    The star had two children, Jon and Ann Hookstratten Osher, and her sister was the singer Ann Crowley.
