Kate Middleton’s family ‘united in light’ shine positive message to cancer sufferers
Many of us may wonder how we will react when the time comes to face our own mortality. For the Princess of Wales, that reality began in February when following a two week hospital stay for abdominal surgery doctors revealed cancer had been found in her body.
At the age of just 42 and a mother-of-three young children, the future queen was thrust into an unknown world which gave no guarantees and held no respect for her role as a future queen.
After careful consideration with the world unaware of her condition, Kate delivered an unbelievably moving statement where she spoke candidly about how she and her husband Prince William contemplated how they would tell their children of her plight.
From the millions who watched that video, barely a soul could not be moved by those words. How fitting then, that in this latest personal update on her cancer journey, we witness the warmth of a family united in love and positivity that the princess says have been the foundation of the strength and courage she has needed throughout.
