Ons Jabeur has secured revenge over Elena Rybakina to reach the Wimbledon semi-finals.
Tunisian sixth-seed Jabeur, one of the stars of the Netflix tennis series Break Point, lost to Kazakhstani world No.3 Rybakina in last year’s Wimbledon final.
But the North African star secured a 6-7 6-4 6-1 comeback victory over Rybakina on Centre Court on Wednesday to secure her place in the last four.
Jabeur will next play world No.2 Aryna Sabalenka as she looks to make the final for the second year in a row and lift her maiden Grand Slam trophy.
The race for the women’s singles title at Wimbledon is wide open following the shock exit of world No.1 Iga Swiatek on Tuesday.
Swiatek was stunned by Elina Svitolina and the Ukrainian wildcard takes on unseeded Czech Marketa Vondrousova in the other semi-final.
