The Guardian – ‘We will stand until the end’ on the frontline in Ukraine
The Guardian’s lead story covers the eastern Ukrainian town of Avdiivka which has been under siege by Russian army for two months, as Ukraine continues to repel the attacks.
One Ukrainian soldier defending the eastern town said Russian commanders are using their personnel “like live meat”, but the defenders vow to “stand until the end”.
