Laura Whitmore and Olly Murs have led the tributes to Caroline Flack on what would have been the presenter’s 43rd birthday.
Flack died at the age of 40 in February 2020 after taking her own life, and her friends and fans took to social media to remember her.
Murs shared a series of video clips of the pair of them dancing together on the X Factor, telling his followers: ‘If the music was on we was dancing! Happy birthday caz x.’
Whitmore meanwhile shared a photo of the two of them together, adding: ‘Happy heavenly birthday Flack’.
She also shared a poignant post with a photo of a sign in the street reading: ‘It’s not success if it costs you your mental health.’
The former Love Island presenter added to her followers: ‘One day this sign showed up on my way to rehearsals.
‘I’ve been reflecting on it a lot today. A little reminder that everyone is fighting a battle that we may not even realise.’
Whitmore’s husband Iain Stirling also shared a photo of him with Flack as they both smiled and made thumbs up signs to the camera.

He wrote alongside it: ‘Happy Birthday friend. Thinking of you today x.’
Dawn O’Porter also shared a snap of Flack holding her skirt down on the red carpet on a windy day as she told her followers: ‘Happy Birthday Button Nose.’
Fans had also flooded social media with tributes to the star, with many posting the slogan ‘be kind’, which went viral following the presenter’s death.
In August, fans were given a glimpse at Flackstock, a one-off festival made by the presenter’s friends to honour her life in a special film.
