Ask Nick Cannon if he’s going to get a vasectomy and you’re going to get a sassy answer.
That’s what Andy Cohen found out after lobbing the personal query at the performer, after the birth of his 12th child.
In 2022, Nick welcomed several children: son Legendary Love in July with Bre Tiesi, before Onyx Ice Cole Cannon, a daughter with former Price is Right model LaNisha Cole, was born in September; nine days later, daughter Rise Messiah Cannon with model Brittany Bell was born; Nick and Abby De La Rosa announced the birth of their daughter, Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon, in November, before he welcomed daughter Halo Marie Canon with Alyssa Scott last month.
Having a chat during CNN’s broadcast of New Year’s Eve Live in Times Square, Andy asked the Masked Singer host about his growing family, joking 42-year-old Nick was ‘single-handedly repopulating the Earth’.
Andy, 54, asked: What is your plan?’ to which Nick replied: ‘Clearly, I don’t have a plan.’

He went on: ‘Honestly man, it’s just so much joy and elation that I have, the family that I have, and I embrace it. I love it, and I don’t have a plan. That should have been clear from the jump.’
Andy, hosting alongside Anderson Cooper, then went on to joke: ‘A vasectomy?’
Evidently not picking up what Andy was putting down, but in on the joke nonetheless, laughed and said: ‘Is that what you want me to get?
‘It’s my body, my choice.’

Nick’s first children, twins Moroccan and Monroe with Mariah Carey, were born in April 2011 and it wasn’t until February 2017 that he welcomed a third child, with the birth of Golden ‘Sagon’ Cannon.
He also welcomed a daughter, Powerful Queen, in December 2020.
In June 2021, Nick was blessed with another set of twins, Zion and Zillion.
Halo Marie’s birth came almost one year after the death of son Zen, who died of a brain tumour at just five months old in 2021.
Nick has been open about his growing brood and has taken the ongoing jokes at the number of his children in good spirit.
In a video ahead of Christmas, he joked: ‘It’s almost the holidays, and thanks to me, the world now has eight billion people.
‘But my job is not done – it’s time to do some online Christmas shopping, and based off the baby mama-to-kid ratio, we’ve got a whole hell of a lot of gifts to buy!’
