Donald Trump targets 2024 presidential run as firm faces tax charges
The Times says Donald Trump’s corporate finance chief and his company pleaded not guilty to tax evasion yesterday as the former president accused prosecutors of a political witch-hunt.
Allen Weisselberg, 73, Trump’s right hand man, was led into a New York court in handcuffs after turning himself in. He was charged with a 16-year scheme to evade tax on $1.76 million and was granted bail after surrendering his passport.
