‘Absolutely exhausted’ paramedic hits out at fuel stockpiling and ‘aggressive’ public
The Daily Express says they described how the fuel shortages have had a detrimental impact on the ability of first responders to do their jobs. The ambulance driver, who asked to remain anonymous, told Express.co.uk: “It feels like we, as an ambulance service, we all took a massive hit through Covid.
“We were so busy going to patients who were really unwell all the time, and finishing 15-hour shifts, then getting to the shops and not being able to get anything because it had all been taken by people who were unnecessarily stockpiling food products.”
