Northern Ireland row mars final day of G7 summit
The Times says the prime minister insisted that he would do whatever it takes to protect Britain’s territorial integrity as the government traded insults with President Macron over Brexit yesterday.
Boris Johnson spoke after the French leader, who had been accused of being “offensive”, dismissed ministers’ comments on Northern Ireland as “polemics”. The row overshadowed the final day of the G7 summit in Cornwall.
