Netflix fans praise brand new series after binge-watching it in one night
Netflix fans have thrown their support behind new South Korean series A Killer Paradox which follows a man who accidentally murders a serial killer.
Released on the streaming service last week, the show is based on the the Naver webtoon of the same name by Kkomabi and stars Choi Woo-shik, Son Suk-ku, and Lee Hee-joon.
The series starts with Lee Tang (Choi Woo-shik, best known for his roles in Train to Busan and Parasite), who is struggling with life and dreams of visiting Canada six months after being discharged from the army.
Working at a convenience store, he relies heavily on his parents for support.
One night he is assaulted by a customer, which leads to a violent confrontation and subsequent murder.
Whilst first intending to turn himself in, he changes his mind after discovering the victim was a serial killer, setting off his desire to continue killing.
