Two more cars have been dumped in a Black Country canal – just four days after a Land Rover was dragged out with a crane.
A blue car was spotted bobbing along Dudley Canal yesterday, whilst a lager white car was lifted out of the Grand Union canal with a crane on Wednesday.
It comes after a luxury land rover, priced at around £64,000, was submerged in the New Main Line waterway in Tipton on Sunday.
Mystery surrounds the recent spate of discoveries and it’s unclear how they got there in the first place.
Kevin Davenport, who was out walking when he saw the blue car, told the Express and Star: ‘I often take a walk by the canal and when I spotted it, all I thought was “that is disgusting.”
‘It really is disgusting, because you think of all the fluids such as oils, brake fluid, it will cause damage to the canal.
‘I saw the photos of the car in a canal in Tipton on Monday, and now this, it makes you think they are connected in some way.’
However other locals have started to see the funny side of the situation.

One commenter said: ‘I’ve heard that’s a good place to fish, catch a lot of car’p.’
It is believed the Land Rover was stolen from Staffordshire, but no owner has yet been traced.
Canal officials suspect the vehicles are being pushed in by hand, rather than being driven directly into it.
It is likely that a driver would suffer serious injuries if inside a vehicle which fell several feet onto the hard bed of an empty lock.
A Canal & River Trust spokesperson said: ‘We were alerted that a Land Rover car had been driven into Factory Lock number 3 on the Main Line Canal in Tipton.
‘Thankfully, there are no reports of anyone being injured’
