The Metro says Footage has captured the incredible moment four commuters put their lives on the line to help stop a phone mugging in broad daylight.

Three people were hospitalised after trying to fight a masked knife-wielding gang in Bishopsgate, London, at around 9:45am yesterday.

Footage posted to social media showed two men on electric bikes attempting to rob a pedestrian before a brawl broke out at 22 Bishopsgate.

The taller suspect appeared to be handed a blade by his accomplice moments before he is dragged to the ground by a passer-by.
