Molly-Mae Hague has revealed she was induced for her labour with new daughter Bambi.
The Love Island star, 23, welcomed her baby girl into the world on January 23 in London, via a vaginal birth, and has now revealed that she was 37.5 weeks pregnant.
The influencer previously spoke about her and partner Tommy Fury’s decision to have her give birth in the capital, rather than Manchester where they live, in order for them to afford themselves some more privacy.
Now, in her newly-uploaded birth vlog, Molly has shared that Tommy’s upcoming fight with rival Jake Paul on February 26 also played a part in her deciding to be induced.
She explained how they had been attending a routine check-up the Thursday before, and she told the medical team that she had been experiencing aches and pains and felt ‘like I was going to give birth to a brick’.
It was then discovered she was already one centimetre dilated and was told that it was unlikely it would be very long until Bambi was on her way.

The couple then headed home – where Molly filmed her hospital bag video – before she returned to London for the weekend, just ‘in case anything happened’ ahead of the induction, which was scheduled for early on Monday morning.
Molly told her viewers: ‘The reason we decided to be induced and not let the labour come on naturally is because, like I said, we’d chosen to give birth in London and also, as you guys know – I can’t really avoid taking about it – Tommy has an absolutely gigantic fight in just a couple of weeks, and we thought through this period of life, we just needed to have some sort of understanding of when things were going to be happening.’
‘We needed to have an understanding of when Bambi was going to be making her arrival so I wasn’t going into labour and he wasn’t not able to be with me because that would have been really bad!’ she added.

Jake has previously inserted himself into the story of Bambi’s birth by announcing to the world that she had been born before Molly and Tommy shared the news themselves.
He was also slammed for leaving an insensitive comment underneath their post.
Tommy brushed off the drama though, calling it ‘speculation’ after Jake posted: ‘Tommy has no excuses now…Baby’s born.
‘Money’s massive. Immigration no issue. Tyson promises he & Papa will make Tommy retire from boxing & change his last name if he can’t beat the YouTuber.’
He added: ‘Tmw I’m coming to London to look at all 3 Fury’s in the eye & shake on that promise.’

Speaking on Piers Morgan Uncensored last week, Tommy responded: ‘At the end of the day, all Jake Paul can do from wherever he is in this world is speculate, and that’s all that was.
‘Speculation, nothing is ever true unless you hear it from me and Molly.’
Talking about the ‘trash-talking’ that comes with public boxing matches like these, Tommy continued: ‘It’s part and parcel, it’s what we have to do.

‘It comes with the entertainment business, that’s what we’re in, and me and Jake Paul are great dance partners, and I’ve enjoyed the build-up so far, it’s going to get a lot more heated, and I can’t wait.’
Elsewhere in the video, Molly also revealed that Tommy was with her throughout the birth and ‘saw everything’ and ‘loved it’.

The boxer made a cameo appearance in the video and described it as ‘a science class’.
‘It’s the best thing I’ve ever seen in my life,’ he added, while also confirming that it was the ‘best thing that would ever happen to him’, in both his personal and professional life.
