The body of a missing Pennsylvania mom was found buried in a suburban neighborhood weeks after she disappeared.
Jennifer Brown, a 43-year-old mother from Limerick Township, was found in a shallow grave on Wednesday, authorities said.
‘We have found Jennifer Brown, who we have been looking for, and she is dead,’ Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele said on Wednesday evening. ‘We hoped and prayed that she would be safe, but she is not.’
Brown’s body was found in Royersford, a much larger town just four miles south of her home in Limerick. She was buried behind a warehouse surrounded by blocks of suburban family homes.

Her body was transported to the coroner’s office. Brown’s death is still the subject of an ‘intensive investigation,’ Steele said.
Steele said he could not elaborate on how her body was located, but did say that she was ‘at least partially buried’ in the suburban lot. Days earlier, police searched a dumpster near the warehouse, as well as a waste disposal facility in nearby Berks County.
Brown was last seen on Tuesday, January 3 at her home by her friend and business partner, Antonio ‘Blair’ Watts-Richardson. Brown dropped her 8-year-old son, Noah, off for a sleepover at the home that afternoon.

Watts-Richardson said he put Noah on the school bus that morning. Brown was reported missing after she failed to pick up him up at the bus stop on his way home from school.
‘She was a devoted mother of an 8-year-old boy, and by all accounts she would have never left him unattended and unsupervised,’ Steele said.
Brown’s car was found parked in her driveway. Steele said her personal belongings – including her keys, purse, and cell phone – were all found in the car.
