Mila Kunis meant it when she promised to be there for Ashton Kutcher ‘in sickness and in health.’
The couple have faced a turbulent time this year, with Ashton revealing his battle with vasculitis back in August.
Ashton, 44-year-old star suffered a year-long battle with the autoimmune disease in 2019, which left him unable to see, hear, or walk .
He previously admitted that he is ‘lucky to be alive’ after the scary ordeal, which saw him wake up one day with an array of problems.
Fortunately, wife Mila, 39, whom he married in 2015, was on hand to support him however she could.
Speaking on the new Paramount+ series The Checkup with Dr. David Agus, the pair discussed how they got through it.

Dr. Agus began, in awe of the progress Ashton has made: ‘From a physician, from a doctor, to be able to see you today compared to what it was back in November 2019…’
He also gave credit to Mila, saying: ‘I will say your wife is amazing.’
Agreeing wholeheartedly, Ashton chimed in: ‘My wife is the best.’
The physician then recalled how Mila had been ‘curled up’ beside her husband through his recovery from the illness.
‘It was a beautiful thing to watch,’ he shared.

His comments left That ’70s Show star Ashton emotional, before he lovingly said once again that his wife is ‘the best.’
Ashton and Mila wed following the US Supreme Court’s ruling over same-sex marriage, previously saying they didn’t want to tie the knot themselves until gay marriage was legal.
‘I was ahead of my time. The Supreme Court decision came down, and that’s when Ashton and I got married,’ Mila once said, after she married Ashton in a very private ceremony in Oak Glen, California on July 4.

Meanwhile, Ashton – who managed to complete a marathon in New York City last month – has developed a new attitude towards life following his recovery from vasculitis.
Describing his mindset, he continued on the Paramount+ show: ‘Part of it is this mental thing I have around achieving a full comeback from waking up at the hospital.

‘I was unable to walk and I was like, wait a second, if I can go from not being able to walk to running a marathon in a three-year span, then I can let that be a part of the past and be like, “I’m back. I’m good.”‘
Ashton has not disclose specifics of his diagnosis but, as stated by the NHS, vasculitis involves the inflammation of the blood vessels, with the immune system attacking healthy blood vessels and causing them to become swollen and narrow.
