The Metro leads with England’s win over Senegal to set up a quarter-final with France. “Here oui go,” says the paper’s headline – a nod to the upcoming match. 

The newspaper said that England “roared into the World Cup quarter-finals”, and will now face “a thrilling clash” with reigning champions, France.

The front page features a picture of goalscorers Harry Kane, Bukayo Saka and Jordan Henderson. Goalkeeper Jordan Pickford – who made a spectacular save in the first half, and star boy Jude Bellingham, who was Man of the Match are also splashed on the front page of the Metro.
