Metro – £14bn United KINDdom
The Metro reports that Britons donated almost £14bn to charity last year. The paper says that despite the rising cost of living, the UK donated a record £13.98bn to charity last year, with the paper playfully calling the country ‘United Kinddom’. The paper says the county’s poorest areas were amongst the most generous.
