I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! viewers were left cringing by Matt Hancock’s rendition of I Want to Break Free.
Before Boy George’s shock exit, the campmates were enjoying a night at the Jungle Arms pub, and belting out their favourite tunes.
At one point, the former health secretary opted for a Queen classic, but viewers weren’t keen, not unlike his fellow campmates.
Babatunde Aleshe began: ‘What was Matt doing?’ with a disapproving ‘Mmm.’
While Matt was performing, Chris Moyles was meanwhile in hysterics, with Babatunde putting his head in his hands.
‘I think Matt was trying to tell us something, when he sang, “I want to break free,” be free Matt,’ comedian Seann Walsh added.

And the performance didn’t end there.
Not only did Matt sing, but he even played the air guitar.
‘Whatever you’ve got to say about Matt Hancock, he went for it tonight and I absolutely love it,’ Owen Warner said, while Lioness Jill Scott clapped along.

Later in the Bushtucker Telegraph, Matt said: ‘I’m a massive Queen fan but I could’ve sung anyone equally badly. But that was brilliant, you can see how he gets a crowd going.’
While Matt may have called it ‘brilliant,’ viewers didn’t agree.
‘Matt Hancock singing I Want To Break Free will give me nightmares for the rest of my life. Good to hear he’s a massive fan of Queen though. Saying that, I’m convinced that if he could, Freddie Mercury would be turning in his grave,’ one person wrote.
‘Matt Hancock singing I want to break free has single-handedly ruined my life,’ another person penned.
Someone else commented: ‘Watching Matt Hancock murder I Want To Break Free by Queen has ruined my evening.’
Other viewers saw a different side to things though, with one person writing: ‘Matt Hancock singing “I Want to Break Free” and Mike Tindall rapping to “Ice Ice Baby” are the jungle highlights this year so far, this is the content we love to see.’

The comments come after Hancock was slammed by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary on This Morning, as the TV duo made a cheeky dig about him singing Karma Chameleon.
Dermot quipped: ‘Matt Hancock even claps out of time!’
Alison replied: ‘He’s got no rhythm!’
Not long before, Hancock was branded ‘out of touch with reality’ for not knowing the words to Sweet Caroline, when Jill was given the opportunity to reminisce on her roaring Euros success with three plays of the popular song.

Earlier this year, England celebrated winning their first major trophy since 1966 after beating Germany in the Euro 2022 final at Wembley.
Celebrations peaked when the Lioness’ belted out Sweet Caroline on the pitch following their epic win.
Almost recreating that scene, the campmates all belted out the tune – but not Hancock, who very clearly didn’t know the words.
