Mark Ronson character ‘cut’ from Amy Winehouse biopic despite actor being cast
Mark Ronson’s character from the controversial Amy Winehouse biopic has been cut, according to reports.
Back To Black, directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, will tell the story of the award-winning singer’s life and her tragic death in 2011.
Marisa Abela will appear as the Rehab hitmaker, while Eddie Marsan will star as her father Mitch Winehouse and her husband Blake Fielder-Civil will be played by Jack O’Connell.
One notably absent character from the film’s IMDB page is Mark Ronson, Winehouse’s mentor and frequent collaborator with the pair working together on her critically acclaimed second album, Back To Black, which Ronson produced.
