Manchester United look set to welcome Marcus Rashford back into the fold for Saturday’s trip to Bournemouth after the striker returned to training today.
The England forward missed United’s 2-0 win against Wolves with a leg injury.
Erik ten Hag said the striker was ‘more than a doubt’ on the eve of the game and he was reluctant to give any update after the victory.
United need two more wins from their final three games to guarantee Champions League qualification.
Rashford is United’s top scorer this term and they squandered a number of fine chances against Wolves on Saturday before Alejandro Garnacho sealed the win in stoppage time.
But United’s Champions League hopes have been boosted after Rashford was spotted back in training today.
With three days before United travel to the south coast, Rashford is likely to be fit for the game against the Cherries.
But Ten Hag will likely give an update on Rashford’s condition when he speaks to the media on Friday.
Huge!
