Manchester United winger Antony returns to UK and agrees to meet with police over assault allegations
The Metro says Manchester United winger Antony has returned to the UK and has agreed to meet Greater Manchester Police over allegations of assault which have been made by his former girlfriend.
Antony’s former partner, Gabriela Cavallin, has alleged that she has been physically attacked by the 23-year-old on multiple occasions during their time together in Manchester and in their native Brazil.
Cavallin alleges that one of the attacks took place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Manchester in January.
The allegations were initially raised by Cavallin to Brazilian authorities in Sao Paulo in June, while a 42-page legal document has since been submitted to GMP.
