Manchester United winger Anthony Elanga has ruled out a summer transfer to Everton.
The Sweden international made an eye-catching breakthrough during Ralf Ragnick’s interim tenure and featured prominently during the early stages of Erik ten Hag’s reign.
Elanga, however, struggled for opportunities as the season wore on amid competition from the likes of £90million signing Antony, Jadon Sancho and the emerging Alejandro Garnacho.
The 21-year-old now appears to have been deemed surplus to requirement by Ten Hag who had been hoping to boost his transfer funds by securing a sizable fee for Elanga.
Everton had appeared the most likely destination for Elanga, but he has turned down a move to Goodison Park, according to the Daily Mail, amid concerns over how well he would suit the tactics employed by Toffees boss Sean Dyche.

Elanga has reported for pre-season duties with United and has travelled with the first-team on their tour of America while his future still hangs in the balance .
‘To join Manchester United is an incredible honour and I have worked hard all my life to get to this moment, overcoming many obstacles along the way,’ Onana said yesterday following confirmation of his £47million transfer.
