Marcus Rashford ‘can do so much more’ for Manchester United and is ready to ‘explode’ after his performances at the World Cup.
That’s according to former United striker Louis Saha, who believes Rashford will return to Old Trafford full of confidence following England’s World Cup campaign.
Though Rashford made just one start for the Three Lions in Qatar, he scored three times before England were knocked out by France in the quarter-finals.
The winger forced his way into Gareth Southgate’s World Cup squad through his impressive displays for United this season, which followed a difficult 12 months for the 25-year-old.
But with eight goals in all competitions for United this season, Rashford is looking to finish the season as the club’s top scorer.
And Saha says Rashford is ready to kick-on in the remainder of the campaign, with the Frenchman claiming he could ‘explode’.

‘I back Marcus Rashford to explode when he goes back to Manchester United as I thought he would have been a massive player for England because of his quality, and his mentality,’ Saha told PaddyPower.
‘Rashford can do so much more in a Manchester United shirt, but he’ll come back with lots of confidence along with everyone else that has been at the World Cup and Erik ten Hag will have a squad full of confidence.
‘They [the United players] have all proven to the world that they can perform better, and they have to take that form back to Manchester United and maintain it. Marcus Rashford is one of the biggest weapons they have.’
