Manchester United are reportedly ready to make a serious attempt at signing 2022 World Cup star Dusan Vlahovic in January to replace Cristiano Ronaldo.
Vlahovic only joined Juventus from Fiorentina just under a year ago, in a deal worth £62million, but could be on the move again next month amid the Serie A giants financial issues.
As such, many of Europe’s big clubs are on alert with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and PSG ready to move for the prolific striker should he become available.
Arsenal were seriously linked with 22-year-old before he moved to Turin as they looked at options to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
According to Corriere dello Sport, United have also joined the race for Vlahovic, with Erik ten Hag keen to add a centre-forward following the departure of Ronaldo.
While PSV and Holland star Cody Gakpo has also been heavily linked with Old Trafford, Vlahovic would be appear to be the more natural fit, given how he is an out and out striker rather than a winger like Gakpo.

He is also very strong in the air, something that may appeal to Ten Hag after he enjoyed great success with target-man Sebastian Haller at Ajax.
Since moving to Juventus, Vlahovic has scored 16 goals and made four assists in 36 appearances and recently represented Serbia at the World Cup.
He went to Qatar carrying an injury however, and as a result was unable to start his country’s first game against Brazil and failed to get off the bench against Cameroon.
He did manage to start and score in Serbia’s final game against Switzerland but was unable to prevent his side from crashing out at the group stage.
