A man on a mission to grab a pint of milk from a local corner shop ended up in a pub instead, as you do.
Marc Moran, a Manchester-based photographer, walked some 20 minutes to get to his local ‘Corner Shop’.
But when he rocked up to the building just south of Etihad football stadium on Rylance Street in Beswick, an eastern suburb, it wasn’t quite a convenience store.
‘Cannot believe I’ve just walked 20 minutes to buy milk thinking (I) was going to a shop when it’s acc just a pub called The Corner Shop,’ he tweeted on Sunday.
‘F**k sakes.’
Marc, 22, clarified that his go-to shop, an Asda, was shut as it was a Sunday.

Despite there being a Tesco just nearby, it didn’t pop up on Google Maps when he searched for a corner shop.
He added that he was in the area as he was trying to score a ticket for Coldplay at Etihad for that evening.
But turns out Marc wasn’t the only one to mistake The Corner Shop for, well, a corner shop.
‘I did exactly the same thing at the Coldplay gig last week,’ said local Neil Williams.
‘I hope you popped in for a pint.’
Another Twitter user added: ‘Go grab a pint of semi-skimmed.’
‘That’s intentionally misleading,’ a third person said, ‘whoever named that knew the confusion they were going to cause.’
