Tears Of The Kingdom datamine claims new Zelda and Ganondorf amiibo are on the way

Leaked Tears Of The Kingdom files suggest that Zelda and Ganondorf amiibo could be in development, but it’s still unclear what rewards they’ll offer.

Although there is a wide selection of The Legend Of Zelda amiibo available, Tears Of The Kingdom offers only one, featuring none other than Link himself.

By scanning Link’s recently launched amiibo, you’ll receive the Champion Link fabric, along with valuable weapons and materials. If you have older versions, you might even be lucky enough to acquire his trusty steed Epona.

However, it appears that the time for fresh additions to your collection may be fast approaching. A recent datamine has unveiled the possibility of two additional amiibo being released, each likely offering their own unique rewards.

A Zelda dataminer has recently uncovered two fresh designs for Link’s glider that are currently absent from the main game. One of these patterns goes by the name Princess Zelda, while the other is known as Gerudo King, clearly a reference to Ganondorf.

Tears Of The Kingdom boasts a collection of 53 paraglider fabrics, excluding Princess Zelda and Gerudo King – which can’t be acquired through any of the currently available amiibo.

Interestingly, the Princess Zelda and Gerudo King fabrics align with amiibo ID numbers 1049 and 1050 respectively, while Link’s Tears Of The Kingdom amiibo carries the ID number 1048, as reported by Kotaku.

While these hints may point to the upcoming release of two new amiibo in the game, there’s no guarantee they’ll actually happen, as plans do change – but given the game’s success they do seem highly likely.
