After a month of humiliating defeats to Liverpool and Manchester City, the United board needed to see some kind of performance to repay their faith. Instead a lackluster and disjointed team piled the pressure on Ole.
The misery and was heaped on beleaguered Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Saturday as Watford sealed a deserved Premier League victory in front of a packed Vicarage Road. And the booing of the crowd seemed to seal his fate.
United are a team of superstars who are either living off their price tag or reputation. However, on the pitch each one of those stars are living on borrowed time. Ole has paid the ultimate price, but how many United players will be pushed out in January and the summer.
