A man tried to insert himself into a threesome without consent during a Halloween party, a court has heard.
Jean Esingle is accused of sexually assaulting two women and strangling a man when he was shunned in Dundee last year.
One of the alleged victims said that he refused to take no for an answer after walking in on the threesome towards the end of the party.
He was asked to leave twice but returned and touched her on the buttocks while she was engaged in sex with her female friend and the man.
Esingle allegedly went into the room with another man and filmed the sexual encounter on a sofa.
The first victim said: ‘We were kissing. Initially it was just kissing. Jean entered the room and he had his phone out and tried to record myself and [Girl B] kissing.
‘He was finding it amusing. He was sort of smiling and kind of laughing and he had his phone out.’
It is claimed that Esingle turned violent when he was asked to leave by the man who was having sex with the two women.
The first victim said: ‘I believe they both came in with the intention of trying to have intercourse with us. They were made aware they were not involved.
‘Jean was the one who made threats. He got right up in his face and said he had no place telling him what he could do. He grabbed him by the neck.
‘He was strangling him and wouldn’t let go. He was screaming at him and this was following an incident where both Jean and [the other man] had entered the room and inappropriately touched myself and [the other woman].
‘Multiple times they were told to go away. There was no need to touch any part of my naked body. He flipped and was right in his face screaming.’
The man in the tryst told Dundee Sheriff Court: ‘My thought was that if Esingle kills me here he is going to be left with the two girls. I was trying to protect the vulnerable girls.
‘I could see his hands touching them and his trousers coming down. I have never really experienced anything like sexual assault behaviour.
‘What happened was the closest I can imagine to being raped by somebody, being overpowered by somebody. I did think I was going to die that night.’
Esingle, from Whitehall Crescent, Dundee, who runs Rebreak News, denies sexual assault.
The trial continues.
