Man charged with stabbing death of pregnant woman
A man has been charged with the murder of Natalie McNally, a pregnant woman who was stabbed to death in her home in Northern Ireland.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said the man, 32, was arrested on 19 December and then re-arrested on 31 January in the Lisburn area.
He is due to appear at Lisburn Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
McNally was stabbed in her home in Lurgan, Co Armagh, on 18 December. The 32-year-old was 15 weeks pregnant at the time of her killing.
Police investigating her murder carried out hundreds of house-to-house inquiries and seized more than 4,000 hours of CCTV footage.
More than 1,000 people gathered at a rally in her memory at Lurgan Park on Saturday.
Many of those in attendance carried placards reading “Justice for Natalie” and “She was only at home”.
The rally was attended by politicians and family members and a number of people in attendance wore pink or blue items of clothing in memory of the mother-to-be.
