Madonna responded to plastic surgery speculation with a brilliant tweet that proved the star was unaffected by the latest backlash online.
The 64-year-old singer took to her social media to set the record straight and poked fun at the comments that suggested she was having work done to alter her visage.
Alongside a portrait of the star, Madonna penned a caption that read: ‘Look how cute i am now that swelling from surgery has gone down. Lol [sic]’.
She uploaded a picture of herself wearing a baseball cap and button-down jacket as well as a pair of ripped jeans that clearly showed off her porcelain face.
Fans spilled words of praise for the musician in her comment section, deeming Madonna a ‘queen’ for her witty response.
One wrote: ‘The Queen of the Universe!,’ while another typed: ‘Trolling or being honest? Doesn’t matter. This is the realest tweet ever. Yes, you do look cute [sic]’.

The Like a Virgin singer was criticised following her appearance at the Grammy awards after many thought she had made alterations to her face ahead of the ceremony.
She attended the event to honour Sam Smith and Kim Petras with a gong however found herself at the centre of backlash online.

‘A world that refuses to celebrate women past the age of 45 And feels the need to punish her If she continues to be strong willed, hard-working and adventurous.
‘I have never apologized for any of the creative choices I have made nor the way that I look or dress and I’m not going to start.
‘I have been degraded by the media since the beginning of my career but I understand that this is all a test and I am happy to do the trailblazing so that all the women behind me can have an easier time in the years to come.
‘In the words of Beyonce “You-won’t break my soul” [sic].’
