Madonna got fans very excited this week when she announced her new world tour to celebrate 40 years in the biz.
The world tour, called Madonna: The Celebration Tour, was announced by the woman herself on January 17 in a wild star-studded video – best watched for yourself – in which comedian Amy Schumer dares the Queen of Pop to do a world tour with all of her greatest hits.
Madonna then asks her fellow celebs gathered around, including Jack Black and Lil Wayne, whether they thought anyone would come to see it, before simply saying: ‘F*** yeah’.
The excitement is real – but how do you go about bagging yourself a ticket?
What are the Celebration UK tour dates?
Madonna’s Celebration tour will be kicking off on July 15 in Vancouver, before ticking off 25 US states and eventually coming to Europe with the Queen of Pop’s first stop being London’s O2 Arena on October 14 and 15.

When do tickets go on sale?
Presale tickets for the London event were released on January 18 at 9am, but they were only for Madonna’s fan club members and O2 Priority customers and via LiveNation.
For the rest of us normal folk, general admission tickets go on sale on January 20 at 10am via Ticketmaster and LiveNation, with O2 Arena shows available here.

How much are tickets?
It’s fair to say there’s been a bit of a backlash to high ticket prices for The Celebration Tour.
Many presale hopefuls took to social media in a rage on the morning of January 18, complaining that all the reasonably priced tickets were gone.
Screenshots poured into Twitter of prices starting at £93.60 For Level 4C tickets and soaring to £436.85 for a space in the floor seating area.

According to The Liverpool Echo on the 9am presale opening, prices did indeed start at £47.55 for standard seated tickets but they got snapped up quickly, and rose up to £1,306.75 for chosen VIP packages with hardly any options under £400 after not too long.
Ticketmaster’s fluctuating ticket prices, which are set by demand and are not pre-published, make it difficult to predict what cost you could be faced with when you log on to get a ticket – but don’t get your hopes up for a £40 steal, as they seem few and far between.
General sale tickets for Madonna’s tour go on sale on January 20 at 10am via Ticketmaster and LiveNation, with O2 Arena shows available here.
