Made.com customers given 25 November delivery deadline
The furniture retailer Made.com – which has fallen into administration, have told customers that unless an outstanding order arrives by 25 November, they should submit a claim to get their money back.
Administrators PwC says nearly 4,500 orders in the UK and Europe are ready with carriers.
But a large proportion of orders will not be fulfilled as they are still in production in Asia or are not ready to be sent out.
High Street giant Next said it would buy Made.com’s brand name and intellectual property for £3.4m but not any of the remaining stock.
Since it collapsed into administration last week, hundreds have lost their jobs and customers have complained about lack of communication over the refund process.
During the pandemic, made.com experienced a boom in sales but has struggled amid the cost of living crisis as Britons cut back on spending.
