Love Island star Zara Lackenby Brown’s family have assured concerned fans that she can handle herself after fans believed she was ‘targeted’ during a brutal game of dares.
In Friday’s installment the islanders decided to pass the time with a light-hearted game, however, the cliffhanger saw the 25-year-old’s love match Tom Clare revealing that Zara was his ideal body type, and her rival Olivia Hawkins had the best face.
Elsewhere during the savage challenge, Australian newcomer Aaron Waters said that Zara was the islander most likely to ‘talk behind your back.’
Viewers immediately shared their discomfort over Friday’s game on social media and claimed the star was being ‘picked on.’
Following Friday’s edition, Zara’s brother Alex said: ‘She is a very strong woman who knows her own mind – she can handle the drama.’
While Zara’s mother Denise stressed to The Mirror that the show is ‘highly edited’ and her daughter is free to leave whenever she wants.
