Shaughna Phillips has reflected on pregnancy being the ‘most worrying’ time of her life, after she couldn’t feel her baby moving.
The Love Island star announced she was expecting her first child last month, but hasn’t had the smoothest time, having to go to hospital just a few days later.
Shaughna has now explained that she recently struggled to feel her baby move.
‘Over the weekend I didn’t feel much movement from the baby in the mornings,’ she recalled.
‘I didn’t really feel that much movement and I started to panic because everyone says that the second you notice a change you should call your midwife. I’ve felt the odd kick here and there but it was nothing like it had usually been.’
Shaughna added in her column for OK! magazine that during pregnancy, ‘you are constantly worrying.’

‘It’s an anxiety that is justified because you’re doing something you’ve never done before; you’re growing a human. That, of course, is anxiety-inducing,’ she said.
Shaughna announced the adorable news that she’s expecting a baby in a sweet video on social media, which showed her sharing the announcement with family and friends as well as the pregnancy test.
At the end of the clip, Shaughna teased that her baby was due in March 2023.
‘Our greatest chapter yet…,’ she captioned the post.

Shaughna, who rose to fame on the winter series of Love Island in 2020, has kept her boyfriend away from the public eye in recent months.
However, earlier this year she told the So This Is Adulting podcast: ‘I’ve been dating someone who is also a surrogate dad to my fur babies.’
Speaking about keeping her relationship private, Shaughna added to the podcast: ‘I used to say [to my dates], “I’d like to keep my relationship private, if that’s ok with you?”
‘And if they said, “oh no, why would you keep my private?” I’m like, red flag.
‘But this guy was like, “I don’t ever want to be in the public eye anyway”, and I was like, I like that answer.
‘Ever since then, we’ve been going from strength to strength, and I like that because anyone who opts in for everyone to know their every move, like myself, is weird.’
