Indiyah Polack was one of 2022’s standout Love Island stars, and it’s safe to say life shows no signs of slowing down for the reality star any time soon.
From moving in with boyfriend Dami Hope, who she met on the show and finished in third place with, to working with PrettyLittleThing as the face of their Marketplace, and picking up a few celebrity fans along the way, Indiyah has been enjoying the rollercoaster of post-villa life.
She told Metro.co.uk: ‘Things are still very busy for me but I definitely feel like I am coming to terms with it now, and I’ve started to realise that this is actually my life.
‘I’m really enjoying it and doing stuff that I love but it’s just getting used to waking up very early and doing something different each day. But I think the main thing is to just enjoy it as obviously nothing lasts forever.
‘I’m making sure I surround myself with friends and family and making sure I have time for myself as well. But it has honestly been really good and this time last year I was not doing this, so I cannot compare it to anything, but it’s been really good and really fun so far.’
Indiyah and Dami’s relationship has gone from strength to strength since leaving Love Island together, with the pair binding with each other’s families on the outside and finding a home to move into soon.

She explained: ‘Me and Dami are actually moving in in a couple of weeks now – it’s coming around soon! So we are looking forward to that and spending our first Christmas together, decorating and doing cute Christmas stuff. Things are going really well for both of us.
‘We’ve decided to do Christmas at ours but we’re gonna invite our families round to our place as it’s going to be our first time so it’ll be nice to have everyone around in our new home.
‘I’ve spent a lot of time with Dami at his nan’s house and his mum actually just came down from Ireland for her birthday. It’s going really well – Dami and my mum get on like a house on fire, sometimes I think they get on too well! No, it’s really good, everyone gets along really well.’
Love Island has previously come under fire for a lack of diversity, however in the past series it endeavoured to increase representation within its cohort of contestants.

With the new host being announced as Maya Jama, Indiyah believes it is a very positive step forward for the dating show.
‘I think it’s amazing,’ she revealed. ‘I think it suits her personality really well and that she’s gonna do a good job.
‘Maya is really lovely and bubbly and is really doing well and presenting well so I think she’s gonna be great. There had been a lot of thought of who was going to be the next presenter and people vouching for Maya and I think the fact she has got it is amazing.
‘She represents a lot of people and a lot of people can relate to Maya, and I think Love Island in general had a lot of representation in our series and now having a presenter that a lot of people can relate to I think is just such a great move.

It’s the brand’s first ever vintage drop (Picture: PrettyLittleThing Marketplace)
‘I think it’ll bring a lot of fun and flavour and I’m kind of excited to see what the new cast will look like next year and how different it’s going to be.’
Since leaving the show, Indiyah was snapped up by PrettyLittleThing to be the face of its new Marketplace reselling platform, allowing fans to buy and sell preloved items.
Indiyah’s new edit is the brand’s first ever vintage drop, which she has reworked herself to add her own style to preloved and vintage items she hand-picked.
She explained: ‘My whole edit is just about everything vintage, so I have chosen a whole loads of vintage pieces and reworked them and made them my style but also kept a lot of stuff original because I wanted my collection to be really inclusive and available for all sorts of different shapes and sizes.
‘It doesn’t matter what size you are you can wear an oversized shirt vibe and still make it look cool. Even before Love Island, Ive always been the person to shop everywhere and make the most out of what I have. Even in the villa, there were times when I would wear an oversized T-shirt from Dami and pair it with boots, so I feel like my style is really reflected in this edit.

‘Because the items are vintage, you know for a fact that when you’re wearing that, you’re going to feel special because you’re going to be the only person wearing it, which I think is quite important. And sometimes when you want something that’s one of one, you have to pay an arm and a leg for it but with it being pre-owned and vintage you don’t have to worry about that as it’s quite affordable for everyone.’
Revealing how fans can put their own spin on unloved items in their wardrobes, Indiyah advised: ‘I would say start with something simple that you can make a lot out of, for example if you have a baggy jumper, you could literally cut it in half and make a top and a skirt.
‘Look at things you can make more than one thing from, so if you have some leftover material you can maybe make some leg warmers or arm warmers out of it, I don’t think you can go wrong if you go ahead and start cutting it! You can kind of feel out what works for the items and your body, but I feel like baggy jumpers and shirts are a good place to start because you can make a lot out of them.
‘We have a few oversized leather jackets which we chopped in half to make two-pieces, which are quite trendy as everyone loves a co-ord because you don’t have to think too much about your outfit.’
The PrettyLittleThing x Indiyah Marketplace edit launches on Wednesday, November 9 exclusively on the PLT Marketplace app on the PLT Boutique, with sizes ranging from XS – XXL and prices from £10-£100.
