Love Island star Adam Collard has spoken about his recent split with Paige Thorne for the first time after he was accused of flirting with other women.
The personal trainer and the paramedic met on the last season of the show, but broke up recently after cheating rumours started swirling following Adam being seen with his arms around another woman.
Now Adam has said the morning after he knew it was the ‘beginning of the end’ for his relationship’.
‘It all got blown out of proportion, then all the other photos and videos I’d taken that night got turned into looking like something else,’ he told The Sun.
‘There’s a video of me earlier that night in a club. I don’t even know who took it, but I’ve seen one of them and I think that’s what Paige has been referring to. I was just working.’
His comments come after Paige claimed she was sent ‘more than one’ video of Adam with different women that night and that he then ghosted her and their relationship ended as a result.

Although Adam admitted he shouldn’t have had his arm around the girl, he said ‘misinformation’ had led him to speak out about ‘what really happened’.
He said it was his jobs to take photos with fans at certain events, which he had been doing in the club, and that was what happened in the McDonald’s when he met the girl.
‘What you don’t actually see in the video is the camera goes around and I get photos with all of her friends like that and take pictures with all of them.’
‘All we were doing was waiting for food and took pictures with people in there.’

But he added that it ‘doesn’t matter because people want to believe what they want to believe’.
After news of the split emerged a few weeks ago, Paige said that there was ‘a lot more to the story’.
Adam, first appeared on Love Island in 2018 before re-entering the villa this year, said that he didn’t ‘blame Paige for this at all’.
‘It is really hard and all the comments put a strain on the relationship because the trust was damaged,’ he said.

Despite the recent break-up Adam’s already said he’d consider returning to Love Island, but doesn’t think he stands a good chance.
‘I’d consider Love Island for a third time, but I don’t think producers would have me back as I was too soppy and didn’t cause enough drama,’ he said.

Love Island is available to stream on ITV Hub.
