Tanya Manhenga and Martin Akinola are set to exchange some strong words (Picture: ITV)
Love Island viewers, prepare for a kick-off, as Tanya Manhenga and Martin Akinola are set to come to blows – with Shaq Muhammad getting in the middle.
Monday night’s episode saw Liverpudlian student Tanya publicly apologise to Shaq for how she treated him during Casa Amor.
Tanya dumped him for Martin, leaving Shaq both single and heartbroken and viewers devastated for him.
But, it seems they’re back on track now, as Tanya professed her love for him following a party with Jax Jones and Calum Scott.
Clearing her throat, Tanya began: ‘This message is for Shaq. I thought I was pursuing a connection and it didn’t work out. I’m saying this in front of everyone because I came in with Martin in front of everyone, and I can’t imagine the embarrassment you felt and the hurt you felt and how disappointed you were in me. So sorry for embarrassing you and making you feel hurt.’
She continued: ‘Not speaking to you all these days has been so hard, and being in bed and you’re not there has been really hard for me.

‘Even though it wasn’t the best situation bringing Martin back, sorry Martin, it has made me realise that I don’t want anyone else. It doesn’t matter who walks through the door, what happens, what challenge is there, I don’t care about winning, I don’t care about anyone speaking to me.’
‘I only want you,’ she told Shaq. ‘And today I spoke to Martin and we did end things on mutual ground and I couldn’t even sleep yesterday, I sneaked downstairs and I kissed him (Martin). I needed a hug, just anything.’
‘And I just wanna let you know how sorry I am and I’m never, ever, ever gonna do anything like that again,’ Tanya promised.
‘I just wanna let you know from the bottom of my heart that I love you so much.’
The tearful lovebirds then shared a hug, with Shaq seeming to have forgiven Tanya.

However, Martin doesn’t appear to be so willing to move on, despite his romance with Tanya ending having meant to have been a ‘mutual’ decision.
In a teaser for Tuesday night’s episode, Martin sat down with Tanya and made it clear how he felt with some harsh words.
‘You’re a liar. You’re not sincere. You made me look like I was dumb,’ he blasted.
‘Martin don’t cause drama, but what the f**k?’
But, Tanya gives as much as she gets, as she fired back: ‘One thing you’re not gonna do is call me a liar,’ walking off.
‘I just told her that she was a liar and that she was insincere, that’s what I said,’ Martin then explains to the group, which only seemed to make Tanya more angry.
‘No, no, no, no, no,’ she says repeatedly, appearing to march over to Martin while Shaq tries, but fails, to hold her back.
Viewers were more than living for the fireworks, especially given that the first time Martin even heard about Tanya’s late night smooch with Shaq was… when she announced it in front of the group.
‘Martin ain’t having it! Tomorrow is about to be fireworks… popcorn loading’, one Twitter user wrote.
‘I don’t think Tanya understands how humiliating it is for Martin to hear this in front of EVERYONE in the villa’, tweeted another.
