Love Island star Haris Namani has been rumbled by attentive fans after claiming he’s never been in a relationship.
Monday’s debut kicked off with Maya Jama taking over from Laura Whitmore as host this year, with a fresh batch of singletons entering a brand new South African villa in the hopes of finding romance.
The first episode saw 10 Islanders enter into couples, with a few steals along the way before the contestants all admitted to wanting to ‘keep their options open’ and get to know each other.
After fans pointed out the striking comparison between him and footballer Phil Foden, the 21-year-old revealed that he has never had a significant other.
‘I’ve never had butterflies and I’ve never fell in love,’ he said during his opener.
Following his admission, a video of Haris and rumoured ex-girlfriend Courtney Hodgson started circulating social media.

While getting to know the contestants, presenter Maya, 28, asked: ‘Harris, are you a relationship kinda guy,’ to which he responded: ‘I’ve never been in a relationship so it’s a hard one for me.’
‘And any turn-offs?’, the 28-year-old continued, with Harris immediately replying: ‘Size five feet.’
Haris, from Doncaster, coupled up with Anna-May Robey, a payroll administrator from Swansea, in the first episode.
