Loose Women panellist Sophie Morgan has shared an update from hospital following an operation.
The TV presenter, author and disability advocate might be unwell at the moment, but she’s made it clear she’s still working hard, even from a hospital bed.
Sharing an update about her health on Wednesday Sophie, 37, said she had been kept there after ‘complications post minor op’.
She also added that she had wanted to share the update, which included a selfie of her masked lying in bed, to highlight it took ‘a lot for disabled people to find the energy to fight when their bodies are a battleground as it is’.
Her post referenced her latest project, a campaign sparked by an incident three weeks ago where British Airways broke her £8,000 wheelchair.
Sophie was left paralyzed aged 18 after suffering a T6 spinal cord injury in 2003 when she was involved in a car accident.

‘Progress Update: Letter to PM from MP about to be circulated for signatures,’ she also mentioned in her post.
‘Aviation experts consulting. Campaign launching next week. Global partnerships being established.’
Last month Sophie spoke about the airline leaving her wheelchair unusable after its two parts were attached together on a flight from Los Angeles to London.
Speaking about what happened on Loose Women, Sophie said it had left her not feeling ‘valued’ as a person after she was left in an unsafe position on an aisle chair and with a wheelchair that could take months to fix.

At the time a spokesperson for British Airways told the programme that it was ‘sorry for Sophie’s experience and we’re investigating what happened as a matter of urgency’.
It now appears she could be launching a campaign to help people in wheelchairs travel with more ease after she previously said airlines should ‘do better’ and find a way to allow people to travel in their wheelchairs to avoid these problems popping up.
Loose Women airs weekdays at 12:30pm on ITV.
