The Loose Women panellists have said they will not be reading Prince Harry’s memoir when it is released in the UK on Tuesday.
Prince Harry, 38, sat down with ITV News presenter Tom Bradby in a 90-minute interview on Sunday night to promote the book.
But Monday’s panel on the hit ITV daytime show – Ruth Langsford, 62, Linda Robson, 64, Janet Street-Porter, 76, and Jane Moore, 60 – are not impressed by some of the Duke of Sussex’s revelations.
Speaking on the show, Jane said: ‘What you didn’t need to do, those sort of intimate moments where he said he and William have a little thing where it’s like, they swear on mummy’s life if they really want the other to believe something.’
Ruth interrupted, ‘It’s very private,’ as Jane continued: ‘All those sorts of things, the conversations at his grandfather’s funeral, that’s just lifting the curtain a little too far for me.’
Janet agreed, telling viewers: ‘I didn’t like the fact that he told us that the King calls him “my darling boy”, I think that level of revelation I was really uncomfortable with.

‘I didn’t like to know so much detail about what he said to the Queen on her deathbed, I just think step back from this. What’s this achieving?’
Jane continued: ‘It’s contradictory. On one hand it’s like, “My father isn’t affectionate with me” and then it’s like, “He calls me darling boy”.’
When Ruth suggested they will have ‘many more days’ of speaking about revelations from the memoir, Jane said: ‘No, I’ve reached peak Harry.’
Linda chimed: ‘Me too, I’ve had enough now,’ with Janet adding: ‘I definitely have.’
Ruth then asked if they will read the book, with Birds of a Feather star Linda saying: ‘No, I won’t. I’ve had enough, there’s enough out, I’m bored of it all now.’

Janet echoed Linda, saying, ‘I don’t want to read the book,’ as she shook her head.
Ruth then asked the studio audience if they would be heading to their local bookshop on Tuesday, with Linda claiming ‘five people’ had raised their hands.
