Lindsay Lohan has gone all gushy over her new husband, Bader Shammas, hailing him an ‘amazing’ person.
The Mean Girls star got engaged to Bader in November last year, announcing their happy news with an Instagram post, showing off her ring.
‘My love. My life. My family. My future,’ she wrote in the caption, before going on to spark rumours that they had tied the knot in a birthday post earlier this year.
She referred to her fiancé as her ‘husband’ in the sweet snap, declaring that he is her ‘life’ and ‘my everything.’
‘I am the luckiest woman in the world,’ she wrote. ‘You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time. I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything. every woman should feel like this everyday [sic].’
Now, the 36-year-old has confirmed that she is, indeed, a married woman, speaking in an interview for the first time about life as a wife.

Chatting with Cosmopolitan’s for The Work Issue, she said: ‘Well, I have an amazing husband, who’s a very calm person.’
‘Just the best,’ she said of her hubby, with whom she lives in Dubai.
Also in the interview, Lindsay praised her loved ones for always being by her side, saying her family and her ‘small group of good friends who are just really good people’ are all she needs.
‘That’s the only support that I really need: friends, family, and loved ones,’ she told the outlet.

Lindsay and Bader are pretty low-key with their romance, but it’s known that they’ve were dating for over three years before he popped the question.
Bader is an assistant vice president at Credit Suisse in Dubai, where Lindsay has resided for the past seven years.
The actress routinely tags Bader in posts featuring them both, but he is private on Insta, with just over 600 followers.
And it isn’t just Lindsay’s private life that’s all rosy at the moment, as things are going swimmingly with her career too.

The American star will return to the screen with a festive Netflix flick in November, following a lengthy hiatus from acting.
Lindsay – whose breakout role came in The Parent Trap in 1998 – takes on her first major role since The Canyons, released 10 years ago, starring as Sierra Belmont in Falling For Christmas.

She described her grand return to acting as like ‘riding a bicycle,’ telling The Hollywood Reporter: ‘I tried to avoid letting distractions on set get in the way. I’m very much to myself before and after a scene.
‘I like to get in my own headspace and prepare quietly on the side. But for me, my whole life, acting is like riding a bicycle.’
She went on to say to take people on that journey with her is ‘such a blessing.’
