Lewis Capaldi pledged his allegiance to online retailer Asos after starring in a hilarious virtual tour of the brand’s HQ.
The Forget Me singer dropped the mic for the day and donned creative director vibes for a once-off chance to boss models around the studio.
Walking viewers through the different areas of the popular online clothing store, Lewis showed off his eclectic taste as he browsed rails searching for the perfect pieces to shoot.
He opted for some daring choices and took a liking to a cut-out hot pink gown, fur coat, PVC trousers and chainmail sweater before ushering his guide through to the poised models.
Declaring he was one to take ‘risks with their fashion’, the 26-year-old brought buckets of his signature humour and offered up funny commentary throughout the process.
Lewis took one look at the fashion set and immediately quipped: ‘I feel like I’m in The Devil Wears Prada!’

Channelling his inner Anna Wintour, he began directing the male and female models as they struck poses against a white backdrop.
‘I just kind of had to take the models through my kind of process’, the megastar explained to the camera from his director’s chair.
Instructing the male model to ‘pose like he was on a Hinge date but the girl hasn’t arrived’, the award-winning artist further outlined his vision for his day in charge.

He said: ‘I want the clothes to jump off of the body and onto the page. I think my sort of inspiration comes from deep within my loins.’
Moving on to his next victim, he asked the female model to appear happy but also express a ‘sadness within her’.
The keen creative then ventured to the monitors to admire his handiwork and joked the model dressed in the pink frock he picked out at the beginning of the video was smiling as if ‘she’s just had a tax rebate’.
Uploading the skit to his own Instagram page, the musician captioned his collaboration with: ‘#ad Got a new gig as ASOS’ Creative Director because I’m finally being recognised for the fashion icon I am @asos and @asos_man [sic]’.
He ended his fashion cameo by offloading a wisecrack that proved where his loyalties lay when it came to fast fashion labels: ‘Boohoo – well you will be f***ing crying!’
