Kylie Jenner has slammed speculation that she used pictures of her children to deflect from the backlash to Balenciaga.
The popular fashion brand sparked intense backlash on social media after pictures emerged of their recent campaign, which included images of children posing with teddy bears in bondage.
They were also called out for ‘displaying unsettling documents’ in some photos, something that bosses issued an apology for.
On Monday, Kylie broke the internet when she gave a rare glimpse into her family life with daughter Stormi and her baby boy on Instagram – without confirming his name.
However, the 25-year-old came under fire herself for the uploads, after a TikTok user accused the famous family of trying to cover up the drama.
A TikTok user who posts under the handle Psych Advice shared a montage of her latest posts, as well as a snap from sister Kim Kardashian, with the message: ‘Kris Jenner telling her kids to release the good photos after the Balenciaga scandal.’

Having none of it, the mom-of-two hit back at the claims in the comments below.
‘Uh, whyyyyy would I post my child to cover up for Balenciaga?,’ she penned, via E! News. ‘This is why I don’t do this. Always something to say [sic].’
Kylie’s comments come after Kim spoke out over the controversial photoshoot, revealing that she was ‘re-evaluating’ her relationship with the brand.
‘I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven’t been disgusted and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened,’ she said on Twitter.
‘As a mother of four, I have been shaken by the disturbing images. The safety of children must be held with the highest regard and any attempts to normalize child abuse of any kind should have no place in our society – period.
‘I appreciate Balenciaga’s removal of the campaigns and apology. In speaking with them, I believe they understand the seriousness of the issue and will take the necessary measures for this to never happen again.’
In a later post, she added: ‘As for my future with Balenciaga, I am currently re-evaluating my relationship with the brand, basing it off their willingness to accept accountability for something that should have never happened to begin with – & the actions I am expecting to see them take to protect children.’

Balenciaga bosses also addressed the fury in a statement: ‘Our plush bear bags should not have been featured with children in this campaign. We have immediately removed the campaign from all platforms.’
In a later message, the company apologized for the appearance of ‘unsettling documents’ in the photos, appearing to refer to documents from a Supreme Court case relating to child pornography laws.

‘We apologize for displaying unsettling documents in our campaign,’ they added. ‘We take this matter very seriously and are taking legal action against the parties responsible for creating the set and including unapproved items for our Spring 23 campaign photoshoot.
‘We strongly condemn abuse of children in any form. We stand for children safety and well-being.’
