Kevin Spacey sex assault lawsuit dismissed by US
The sexual assault lawsuit bought against actor Kevin Spacey has been dismissed in a New York court.
The case was brought by Anthony Rapp, who says Spacey touched him at a party in 1986 when he was aged 14.
Rapp, now 50, filed the legal action in September 202 and had been seeking around $40m in damages.
Spacey denied the allegations. He is separately facing five charges in the UK of sexual assault, to which he’s pleaded not guilty.
The Manhattan three-week civil trial jury found that Mr Rapp had not proved his claim that Kevin Spacey had made an unwanted sexual advance.
