Kelly Clarkson has launched her Las Vegas residency in style with a cheeky comment directed towards a fan’s even cheekier request.
The 41-year-old kicked off her very first LA residency – Chemistry: An Intimate Evening with Kelly Clarkson – over the weekend and fans flocked to see the Breakaway singer live.
She will be thrilling fans at Planet Hollywood’s Bakkt Theatre until August 19 for 10 nights of sold-out gigs.
One fan got more than they expected in the 95-minute set as Kelly responded to their cheeky sign with an even more NFSW comment.
Kelly approached the fan while on stage and read out the sign: ‘My girlfriend gave me a hall pass for you.’
Fans screamed as the Emmy award-winning talk show host said: ‘If I was into chicks, I’d take up the offer.’

A ‘hall pass’ is slang for a celebrity who your partner is allowed to have sex with outside of the relationship, usually, these are limited and only meant in jest.
It comes from the American school system, in which pupils need to have a hall pass in order to be outside classrooms during lessons.
As she walked away, in a glittering green and black jumpsuit with a black velvet jacket, Kelly continued and caveated: ‘I just unfortunately like d***s.’
The crowd roared as the Because of You singer laughed to herself and her guitarist after the comment.
Kelly’s residency is for her latest album Chemistry, released on June 23, which the singer released after her divorce from Brandon Blackstock who she had been with for almost 10 years.

She began dating the talent agent in 2012, who is the son of her former manager Narvel Blackstock and actress Reba McEntire, and he also became her manager.
The pair wed in October 2013 and have two children together; River Rose, 9, and Remington Alexander, 7.
Kelly filed for divorce in 2020 due to ‘irreconcilable differences’ and it was finalised in 2022.
Chemistry, her first non-Christmas album since 2017, is an open journey through her feelings towards the divorce and debuted at number six on the Billboard album charts.
