After previously facing down jail time, Katie Price has insisted if she was ever sent to prison she’d find a way to ‘earn money’ from the situation.
In February the 44-year-old will appear in court after being declared bankrupt in 2019 with massive debts totalling £3.2 million, which saw her at risk of losing her multi-million-pound mansion.
She was previously ordered to pay £12,000 off every month for four years to her creditors after taking out an individual voluntary arrangement (IVA) in 2021, but failed to do so.
Katie managed to avoid going to jail in February this year over the failed repayments, after reportedly agreeing to a last-minute deal.
However, when asked if she feared her luck would run out and she’d be sent to prison in the future, she said she’d find a way to ‘make money from it’.
In a candid conversation, Katie told The Sunday Times: ‘If I do I’ll write a chapter for my next book and it will earn me money.

‘And I love peace and quiet. That’s the attitude I have. So there you go. Answered that.’
Going on to speak about her community service work at a food bank in Horsham, the star insisted she’s enjoyed it so much she’s volunteered to return.
She said: ‘Loved it! And they loved me there. Yeah, I’ve offered to be a volunteer. And the Samaritans in Brighton have asked, and I want to do that. I’ve got a lot more hours left to do. It’s nice to do something different and give something back.’
Katie has been open about her struggles and admitted elsewhere in the interview that men were her ‘downfall in life’, amid speculation around her on-again/off-again relationship with fiance Carl Woods.
She concedes that she’d love to live a drama-free existence, insisting she’s sought help and ‘sorted’ herself out.
Katie told the newspaper of her want for a little calm: ‘I would love it. Oh, I crave it. I’m trying to do it now. I don’t want drama. I’ve sorted myself out. I’ve got help, I do therapy. I’m in control and happy now. It’s all set.’
