Katie Price proved once again that she’s made of tough stuff when having to deal with a horrifying wasp nest in her home on the new season of her Channel 4 show.
Tonight, Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion returns for season 2, following Katie and her family, including her on-again, off-again partner Carl Woods and son Harvey Price, as she embarks on a huge project to renovate her previously-delapidated mansion.
On the first episode of the new season, the model shows some of the places where she hoards her possessions in the house, including a shipping container, where an undiscovered wasp nest is revealed.
When Katie, 44, and Carl, 33, go to investigate the shipping container, he’s shocked to find a £3,000 designer bag that’s simply been ‘left to rot’ among the piles of other objects.
He then spots some wasps flying around, ascertaining that there must be a wasp nest nearby.
Katie quickly scarpers to avoid being stung, before returning later on with a fumigation expert, decked out in a bright pink hazmat suit.

As she and the expert, Danny, prepare to re-enter the shipping container to find the wasp nest and kill the insects inside, she asks if they definitely won’t be able to sting her with her suit on.
‘No they won’t be able to sting you at all in that,’ Danny replies, admitting that he has no idea how big the nest is, and so it could contain between 500 to 2,000 wasps.
As the find the nest inside a box, Katie is astounded over its size, spotting some honeycomb that the bugs have made.
As the bring the nest outside, the former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! contestant says that it ‘fascinates’ her… before horrifyingly realising that one of the wasps has made its way into her mask.

Danny is confused as to how the wasp got inside, as Katie reveals it’s stung her on the nose.
He kills the wasp, while also pointing out that her suit wasn’t zipped up properly, which is why it was able to get in.
‘It could’ve stung me anywhere, and it stung me on the end of my beak,’ Katie says.
However, she’s not one to give up on the task at hand, adding: ‘I can’t stop now, I’m in the middle of the job. My beak is on fire.’
After they spray the wasps dead, Danny tells Katie that he’s sorry that she was stung.
‘It’s part and parcel isn’t it. You’re going to mess with wasps, you have to risk getting stung,’ she replies coolly.
Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion is available to watch on All 4.
