Justin Bieber has told fans not to buy merchandise with his face on from H&M as he claims he never approved it.
The musician, 28, has been a household name since being discovered singing on YouTube by music executive Scooter Braun as a young teenager, and his face has been stamped across clothing pretty much ever since.
However Justin has taken issue with a new collection of merchandise feature his image currently appearing in H&M.
The Turn To You singer claims the merchandise is ‘all without my permission and approval’ and warned fans: ‘I wouldn’t buy it if I were you.’
Justin aired his thoughts on the matter with a public statement on Instagram, taking to his stories on Monday to make the claim.
He added: ‘The H&M merch they made of me is trash and I didn’t approve it, don’t buy it.’

Clothing chain H&M, which has stores across the world including in the United States and United Kingdom, insist they followed the usual procedure for the new collection.
When approached by Metro.co.uk for comment, a spokesperson said: ‘As with all other licensed products and partnerships, H&M followed proper approval procedures.’
It appears the collection in question was based in US stores and featured hoodies and other clothing with Justin’s face and lyrics from his song ‘Ghost.’
Despite earlier availability, no Justin Bieber merchandise was available to buy on the US H&M online store at the time of writing.

It comes after Justin recently spent time with another groundbreaking teen act, Billie Eilish, to celebrate her 21st birthday.
Justin, along with wife Hailey, 28, had a wild night out with the Bad Guy singer alongside the likes of her boyfriend Jesse Rutherford, 31, and rapper Doja Cat, 27.
Kendall Jenner, Dove Cameron, and pop-rock singers Olivia Rodrigo and Avril Lavigne were also invited to the Los Angeles birthday bash.

Before the weekend celebrations, Eilish performed to a sell-out crowd at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, LA.
