Thursday’s Loose Women descended into chaos with comedian Judi Love having her fellow panelists – and the audience – in tears of laughter.
The panel were discussing the trend of new mothers getting glammed up for labour, in order to have their hair and makeup perfect for online content during and immediately following the birth.
Host Charlene White joined Judi, Jane Moore and Denise Welch on the programme, each sharing their own labour stories – some longer and more difficult than others – in a candid way.
Judi was then asked if she would ever document and stream her birth, to which she said she would not – however she did film it previously.
The mum-of-two has two teenage children, and welcomed her youngest shortly after her mum’s death in 2009.
She explained how her mother-in-law was taking extra care of her as she went through pregnancy, labour and a newborn while also grieving her mother.

‘We had the baby, and my mother-in-law at the time was trying to make sure it was nice, so we decided we were all going to sit down and watch the birth together.’
Already Judi’s story was raising eyebrows, as Charlene pulled a face and Denise laughed while Judi asked: ‘Did no one else do this?!’
She went on: ‘We wanted to reminisce!’ It was his nanny, ‘ joking they had also invited the next-door neighbours and neighbourhood children to watch.
‘The problem is,’ she said, ‘we put the tape in, and when it came up there was no editing. It was straight chum chum.’
Her fellow panelists dissolved into laughter, with Denise screaming with laughter at Judi’s description – but she wasn’t finished yet.

‘It was just zooming in, and it was crowning and it was zooming in and zooming in – it was so bad, and it was so uncomfortable because we was sitting there going “Okay.”
‘But we had already committed! We had committed to this! Could you imagine, I’m sitting there and the world is seeing my chum chum.’
At this point it was all over, even for the always-professional Charlene, who was seen doubled over with laughter and dabbing at her eyes with a tissue as she was literally reduced to tears of laughter.

Adding to the hysteria was Jade, who asked cheekily if she had had her hair done for the occasion – not talking about the locks on her head.
Explaining why she decided to film the birth, Judi said: ‘In that moment you have an idea of how you want your birth to be. I was adamant I wanted it filmed.
‘But the person filming it, they was off the track. It was messy.’
